Research Projects


The FARM Facility is regularly involved in scientific research missions throughout the United States and the World. These projects have studied orographic precipitation processes, wintertime clouds and snowfall, cloud seeding, mixed precipitation, wildfires, convective precipitation (supercells, MCS, QLCS, squall lines), landfalling hurricanes, as well as investigations into tornadogenesis.
